TEAM FROST DEFEATS TEAM PSYCHO 3-0

Character Bans: Kolin and M.Bison

Nephew’s Team FROST, having defeated Justin Wong’s Team SPIRIT last week, got another impressive win this week against Toi’s Team PSYCHO. FROST’s UpToSnuff led things off by defeating Toi 2-1 in round one. Nephew once again showed the strength of his secondary character, G, in a win against JustAKid’s Juri in round two. In round 3 Dual Kevin defeated El Chakotay 2-0. Team FROST is looking strong but will face Punk’s incredibly tough Team INFERNO next week.

TEAM GALE DEFEATS TEAM INFERNO 3-2

Character Bans: Karin and Ibuki

It’s the fifth week of competition and Punk’s Team INFERNO has not lost until this week. NuckleDu’s Team GALE has now proven that they can be beaten, although not easily, with this 3-2 win. Things didn’t look promising for Team GALE at the outset as Punk defeated Shine in round one. NuckleDu narrowly defeated BrolyLegs in round two but JB’s Rashid beat RobTV’s Necalli in round three. At this point only NuckleDu remained in play for Team GALE against INFERNO’s Punk and JB. NuckleDu, with a withering offense using Guile, defeated Punk’s Kolin in round four. The final round between NuckleDu and JB came down to the very last round of the last match to decide and NuckleDu finished the battle off with a throw.

TEAM STORM DEFEATS TEAM SPIRIT 3-2

Character Bans: Balrog and Laura

Team STORM’s Samurai once again carried his team to victory this week, pulling off his third elimination of the entire opposing team in as many weeks! Justin Wong’s Team SPIRIT had a great start with Brian_F defeating Clasico in round one and Psycho defeating STORM team captain iDom in round two. Samurai, once again incredibly focused, made some clutch plays and impressive tactical decisions as he defeated Justin Wong (2-1), Brian_F (2-0) and finally Psycho (2-1). The case for banning Akuma to slow down Samurai just got stronger.
