Starting this week, each of the teams will now face off against each other once again due to the double round robin format. What adaptations will each team make in their rematches? TEAM INFERNO DEFEATS TEAM FROST 3-1

The first team battle of the week was Punk’s Team INFERNO versus Nephew’s Team FROST. Although the team order and some character choices have changed since their first battle in week 2, the character bans and the ultimate result remained the same. Punk led INFERNO’s order against FROST’s Dual Kevin with Punk winning 2-1. FROST’s UpToSnuff came out on top over INFERNO’s BrolyLegs in an incredible close match 2-1 in round two. INFERNO’s JB handily defeated FROST’s Nephew, using G, 2-0. Punk finished off team FROST by eliminating UpToSnuff 2-0.

TEAM STORM DEFEATS TEAM PSYCHO 3-2
Result from Battle in Week 2: PSYCHO defeats STORM 3-2, character bans: Laura and M.Bison
Character Bans: Laura and M.Bison
The first battle between iDom’s Team STORM and Toi’s Team PSYCHO resulted in PSYCHO’s only win so far this season. In that battle, PSYCHO’s JustAKid with his Juri defeated all of Team STORM to pull off a come from behind victory. This week’s battle started off much more promising for Team PSYCHO with PSYCHO’s JustAKid defeating Clasico in round one and PSYCHO’s El Chakotay beating iDom in round two. Then STORM’s Samurai pulled off an incredible fourth team-wipe in as many weeks, eliminating Toi, JustAKid and El Chakotay each with 2-0 scores. Samurai is absolutely on fire and has delivered every one of Team STORM’s four team wins so far!

TEAM GALE DEFEATS TEAM SPIRIT 3-2

NuckleDu’s Team GALE and Justin Wong’s Team SPIRIT faced off in a back-and-forth battle this week. NuckleDu, using Cammy this week, defeated SPIRIT’s Brian_F in round one with a 2-1 score. Justin Wong, using Karin, defeated GALE’s Shine 2-0 in round two but GALE’s RobTV defeated SPIRIT’s Psycho 2-1 in round three. Justin Wong came out on top in the team captain face-off against NuckleDu in the next round 2-1, leaving just one player remaining on each team. RobTV and Justin Wong fought a Karin mirror-match in the final round and RobTV won with a score of 2-1.

TEAM STANDINGS
Team INFERNO remains in the lead after this week’s team battles with a score of 5-1. INFERNO took its first and only loss in a tough match against Team GALE last week but they didn’t seem to lose their stride. Teams STORM and GALE remain at 2nd and 3rd place after their wins this week with 4-2 records. Team FROST holds 4th place with a 3-3 record and Teams SPIRIT and PSYCHO remain at 5th and 6th place with records of 1-5.
