Its week fifteen of STREET FIGHTER LEAGUE: PRO-US Season 3 and this is the last chance for teams to make a move before the Playoffs next week. This is an especially exciting episode because two of the four teams playing are right on the bubble between making the cut and going home. The Team Battles for this week are Team DYNAMITE against Team ALPHA 3 and NASR against PSYCHO SHINOBI.

TEAM DYNAMITE vs ALPHA 3
Banned Characters: Kolin and Birdie
The first Team Battle of the week was Punk’s ALPHA 3 against Smug’s DYNAMITE. ALPHA 3 has already secured the first seed of the playoffs and has little to lose except pride. DYNAMITE came into this week 4-5 and not only needed to win, but needed to win big in case tie-breakers came into play to having a chance of moving on.
DYNAMITE did exactly what they needed to do, defeating ALPHA 3 in a 3-0 sweep. It was an incredible performance by DYNAMITE with MenaRD and Gamerbee winning decisively over Nephew and CJ Truth. The battle between the captains, Smug’s Balrog and Punk’s Chun-Li, was a thriller and would be crucial for DYNAMITE as Punk can decimate a team single-handedly. Smug won the matchup 2-1 with a ferocious offense and a lot of great reads.
ALPHA 3’s loss here has no impact on their entry into the playoffs as far as positioning. They will still be the number one seed in the winner’s bracket. The team hasn’t lost a Team Battle since the very first week of the season and we shall see how they react to this week’s decisive defeat next week. DYNAMITE is at 5-5 and their destiny will be determined by the Team Battle between NASR and PSYCHO SHINOBI.

TEAM PSYCHO SHINOBI vs NASR
Banned Characters: Akuma and M.Bison
The results of this Team Battle between HotDog29’s PSYCHO SHINOBI and Big Bird’s NASR had huge playoff implications. NASR came in at 5-4 and PSYCHO SHINOBI at 4-5. Just like DYNAMITE in the previous Team Battle, PSYCHO SHINOBI absolutely needed this win to have a chance at a playoff spot.
Unfortunately for them, it was pretty much all-NASR in this Team Battle. AngryBird got two critical wins against Xian in the first matchup and against Caba in the final one to secure the team win. Big Bird defeated HotDog29’s Kolin with little trouble thanks to a ban of the latter’s main character, M.Bison. For PSYCHO SHINOBI the bright spot was Caba, who beat Samurai in the second round of the Team Battle.
This was an important win not only for NASR but also for DYNAMITE, who will move on to the playoffs as a result. AngryBird once again helped to carry his team to victory now they will face off against DYNAMITE next week.

With the final week of the regular season over below are the final results. The four teams making into the playoffs will be ALPHA 3 and ALL-IN in the winner’s bracket and NASR and DYNAMITE in the loser’s bracket. The playoffs take place next week so be sure to tune in!
